Charm bag:

At the regional day in March I purchased a delightful moda charm pack from Dot (Quilters Needs). It was one of those purchases were I did not buy the pack for a particular project, I just adore the colours and the patterns. Several days ago I decided I need to make a quick project and remembered the charm pack. I also remembered a lovely bag I had made quite some time ago from a magazine using 5 inch squares. The pattern is in McCalls Quilting, August edition 2007 and the charm pack I have used is called Bouquet. This morning I finished my little project just in time to collect all those delicious chocolate eggs the Easter bunny has left me.

Remember the jelly roll my friend Judith gave me a few weeks back, well this is the quilt I have made with it. The pattern comes from the book jelly roll inspirations, but sadly the fabric did not inspire me. Sorry Judith I hope you are not offended. However,I have finished the top but I am not sure what to do with it, keep it or donate it to project Linus? So in the meantime it will remain folded away.
