David Bailey in the making!!!!!

On Monday it was Paige's Birthday, she was 17 and we decided to go for a nice pub lunch. Paige has been stuck in her room with her head in her books for weeks, revising for her A levels. Our little man came too and he was carring my camera. The following pictures are what he took and by the time I got it off him the batteries died.
On the way to The Waterside for Paige Birthday lunch. Mummy driving.

Area days:

Mini work shop in the afternoon. " Garden through the window".
I had a great day yesterday, I went to the Wirral area day. The speaker was my lovely friend Jackie Martin. Her quilts are just so beautiful and she is such a lovely person. I went with my amazing friend Janet and as always the day was filled with lots of chatter and laughter. It is days such as these that I realise I am so very blessed to be part of something so special. Sorry no pics I forgot my camera :( x

It just needs a label...

I am very stressed at the moment  as the final project on the Art and Design foundation course comes to an end. I decided I needed a tiny bit of time out and take a day off from college work.  This is what I did on Monday, I decided to indulged myself and final finished my Age of Aquarius. I am so pleased with it all that left to do is pop a label on it and fill in the application form for Harrogate. Wish me luck x

Fun in the park

Faster auntie Natty

Oh not to fast boys!

Cheese!

Up and away.

Catching flys at the end of a fab day.
My sister and I took Cole and Harvey to Victoria Park in Widness on Saturday. It is a lovely park, very big with lots of things for children to do. There is an old glass house that has a butterfly house inside but sadly that part was closed.  We took a ball with us and a picnic and luckily the weather brightened up and we had a really fun day.  I have to say Natalie and I where shattered when we got home but we both enjoyed every minute of the day.

Southport quilt Exhibition

Just some of the pics I took on Friday.

On Friday I went to see Southport Quilters Exhibition and I had such a lovely morning. The quilts as ever where simple beautiful, I met up with lots of friends so there was lots of chatter (I know mainly from me haha) then a lovely lunch with a scrummy piece of chocolate cake. I have to say I am so itching to dive into my stash and make a quilt but sadly I'm nearing the end of the foundation course and all my efforts are on that at the moment. Sooo looking forward to the six weeks holidays and I will sew to my hearts content.

Mad hatters (or should that be quilters) tea party!

Our area day Tea Party
Emma and Liz. Hellllo Hellllllo!

Today was our tea party area day and a very good time was had by all. I was determined to take lots of photos but I only managed to take four and my batteries died. I have really enjoyed my time as rep but even more so because I was with my fab friend Janet and without her the journey would not have been possible. Dot was are speaker in the morning and she brought never ending bags of amazing quilts. She was delightful to listen to and told us lots of funny little stories relating to some of the quilts. In the afternoon we all put on our hats and the tea party began. We played games, drank  cups of tea or coffee and ate lots and lots and I mean lots of cakes all homemade. Scrummy yummy. What a fab end to a great three years.
