Mad hatters (or should that be quilters) tea party!

Our area day Tea Party
Emma and Liz. Hellllo Hellllllo!

Today was our tea party area day and a very good time was had by all. I was determined to take lots of photos but I only managed to take four and my batteries died. I have really enjoyed my time as rep but even more so because I was with my fab friend Janet and without her the journey would not have been possible. Dot was are speaker in the morning and she brought never ending bags of amazing quilts. She was delightful to listen to and told us lots of funny little stories relating to some of the quilts. In the afternoon we all put on our hats and the tea party began. We played games, drank  cups of tea or coffee and ate lots and lots and I mean lots of cakes all homemade. Scrummy yummy. What a fab end to a great three years.

What a great day! Thanks to you and Janet we have a fab 3 years, you have really spoilt us! Yesterday was the "Grande finale" with all those lovely cakes, plus Dot and her quilts! What more can you ask for! I have to admit, I only had ONE cake, but you very kindly gave me 2 of your yummy chocolate cupcakes to take home and Al and I enjoyed them after our tea! scrumptious! x
