On Friday I went to see Southport Quilters Exhibition and I had such a lovely morning. The quilts as ever where simple beautiful, I met up with lots of friends so there was lots of chatter (I know mainly from me haha) then a lovely lunch with a scrummy piece of chocolate cake. I have to say I am so itching to dive into my stash and make a quilt but sadly I'm nearing the end of the foundation course and all my efforts are on that at the moment. Sooo looking forward to the six weeks holidays and I will sew to my hearts content.

love the second to last quilt, the white with batik, it's gorgeous.

hi Kath Oh I like that one to I have been collecting batiks for some time now as I have seen a quilt a friend has made but now i new a few yards of cream or white for the sashing and so on but that will have to wait till the summer hols xx
