The Farmers Wife:

Look what arrived in the post yesterday. I devoured several pages last night before falling asleep. The letters are so lovely, they paint images of rural idealistic bliss. Each block has a name and it is all very interesting. At this moment in time the jury is out as to weather I ever make the sampler quilt?????? It is however a very beautiful quilt.

I decided to make this quilt when I go the book in November - by hand! Worked out that at 2 blocks a week, it would take about 2 1/2- 3 years then goodness knows how lon to handquilt! Best laid plans and all that but I am finally back to it and on block 7! It's a lovely book and the author even sent me a new disc when it got broken. :)
