I have got a terrible bee in my bonnet its been there now for a few days and today I decided it was time to get it out. My bee is if people take the time to leave a comment on a blog surely good manners calls for the comment to be acknowledged with a reply. Politness cost nothing and is often rewarded with many blessing. There the bee has gone. I hope I have not offended anyone with this particular post as that was not my intention. :)

I agree entirely. I think it gets more complicated when you get say, 35 comments. In those cases it takes a lot of time to reply individually.
I wonder tho, do people pop back to see if one has responded to their comment?
Hi Kath, Yes I can understand that the more you get it does become time consuming and we all live busy lives. I personal always pop back to see if they have replied and I have to be honest if they didnt it never bothered me but this one was a bit different shall we say and sadly it became the bee in my bonnet. I hope though i have not offended anyone because that was not my intention. xxx
I often leave comments on various blogs, and I always get a Thank you,, via e-mail usually. When comments are made on my blog, I, once again, get notified by e-mail that so-and-so left a comment,, and send a reply. I often forget to check the comments page on my blog for new messages,, but am getting into the habit of doing so as I know some messages don't come through to my e-mail addy!

I agreed with you straight away, then got owrried in case it was me as I haven't been to my blog for a few days. I am so worried now if it was me Susan I am so sorry and will hang my head in shame, I do try to either answer peeps straight away when I receivce the email or when I go to my blog, I have another grumble though to add to yours, those stupid annoying spam messages I keep getting, they make me just so cross. They are vile and a nuisance. Thank goodness they don't get posted. Jan.
Hi Jan Nooo It was not you honey. Thankfully I don't get spam mail but don't know why cos all the tech side, firewall and so on is his department. If something happens on the PC I dont understand i just expect Colin to sort it and if he trys to explain I suddenly go deaf haha xxxx
