Quilts, cake and freindship....

Dots medallion quilt designed by Janet.
On Friday I went to Gresford crafts and quilts exhibition, as always it was such a lovely day out despite the rain. I was in the delightful company of Janet, Gwen, Sue and Shirley, we had a lovely lunch, with scrummy homemade cakes and there was lots and lots of laughter. Dot's medallion quilt was the first quilt to greet us and it certainly has the wow factor.

Dot puts me to shame, as I don;t know how many of Janets original medallion quilts she must have made.I'm still trying to get my first one done, although I have been doing a few other things in between. I'm glad you had a good time at Gresford, it was always one of my favourite days out, such a pretty village.
