That's what life feels like at the moment because if I am not cleaning or washing or doing homework, I am travelling to and from Uni. However, yesterday I took time out and I went to the Merseyside Area day. The speaker was an amazing Textile Artist named Sue Sercombe and her work was lovely, right up my street. I had a fantastic day with my very good friends and thoroughly enjoyed the workshop in the afternoon. As always the day was filled with lots of laughter and good company but alas no cakes. Here are the results of a great day:

I completed my little Christmas tree on a felted background in the work shop when I got home I glued it to the card and added the NOEL stamp. |
|
I made a poppy broach when I got home using the work shop technique. |
|
I made this little card using the left over bits from the workshop kit. I changed the beads to gold instead of red but I think the red beads work better. |

glad you found some time to play!
I love the poppy brooch...they're selling very similar ones in Galeries Lafayette (seriously swanky French shopping chain) for a whole load of money.

What a profitable day - pretty workshop pieces and a good time. Hope you are enjoying your course?
Hi Kath Uni is heavy on the home work but I am sure I will get the balance right soon. :)
