Bring it on......

OMG a few days ago I stepped on a set of weighing scales and nearly fainted as to how much weight I have piled on. For those exclusive friends who know the awful number please keep it to yourselves as it is painfully embarrassing. It was time to get my head out of the biscuit tin and do something positive to loose weight and get fit and healthy. Ta Da this is what we bought today and yes we have both made a start.  Considering my bum is big and quiet well cushioned the seat on the exercise bike is a killer.  Next step is working out a sensible diet this is going to be one of the hardest things I have ever done but nothing worth while comes easy so bring it on.

Oh I know what you mean. Despite my natural padding I find bike seats really uncomfortable!

Hi Caz I think the ladie who's scales they where did't know they went that far hehe. :)

Hi Lin I lived in a flat for six years or so now and I live on the tenth floor my knees can not take the stairs at the minute but will give it a couple of weeks on the bike then stairs here I come. :)

Oh Kath I feel like someone has kicked me up the backside. Oh wait I have had a kick up the backside but it was those scales showing me how much I weighed hehehe :)

Eat what you want but have smaller portions. Try to stick to the veg, meat and fish and cut down on the bread, spuds and cakes. If you start a 'diet' you'll never stop thinking about food. A friend lost 2 stone in 3 months just concentrating on smaller portions. Having said all that, I need to practice what I preach!
