Flower Power. |
Here is my completed top of Flower Power designed by my wonderful friend Janet. I was a such a lovely design to follow and I really enjoyed making it. I just need to pull my finger out and layer and quilt it. It is a really sunny quilt with lovely bright colours and a fab flowery boarder. I have used some colours that I rarely touch such as yellow, orange and purple. Its not that I don't like these colours I'm just never drawn to them. I am more of a pink, blue or green girl and the fact that I have two draws full of fabric in each of these colours is probably testament to that. However, to wear my favourite colour is red followed by black. Drop me a comment as to what your favourite colour is and I will pick at winner at random on the Sunday 1st June. He or she will receive a mystery prize X:) good luck all.

Lovely quilt top Susan - very fresh and summery. I know what you mean about drawers full of fabric in favoutite colours! I am seriously short of green which I hardly every use and yellow. I love pinky purply bluey colours! xx
Lovely bright quilt,, well done. My favourite colour tends to be purples, and variations of that. Like Lin said, I am short of greens, and hardly use yellow.

It's funny isn't it, my favourite colours to wear are blue and purple, but I don't tend to use those colours in my home.
Like you, I don't use yellow, but your quilt looks very bright and cheerful. Are you going to hang it in your sewing room?
Hi Kath no its to big its a bed quilt. I'm not sure what I'll do with it to be honest probably put it in the bag with all the other quilts hahah x:)
