A room with two halfs: Part 1

This is one half of my sewing room. It has taken me the best part of yesterday and today to have a good old spring clean. I have re-arranged the shelving units which has freed up some floor space or room for more shelves? I have been extremely ruthless sorting through my fabric stash. The bag you see near the sewing room door is full of fabric that I hope will go to a good home. I did not realise I had accumulated so much, fabric, notions, paints, magazines books the list is endless. Now this side is complete it looks spic and span.

well done Susan! nothing like a good clear out, it makes space for more purchases! Love the quilt you've made for Paige, can you bring it to Liver Birds? I've managed to do some sewing every day , but not produced anything as all my things are long term projects! I suppose they'll turn up sometime tho! lol!

Hi Susan,
well done it looks lovely want to come and do mine? Try your local schools for the stuff you dont want, their art departments love bits like that.

And once you get it finished you can have lots of fun messing it up again.

Ooh you have shamed me, mine needs doing badly, especially as there is so much furniture from the house dumped down there during the kitchen refurb!

Hi Gwen, your projects are always worth the wait. good for you getting lots of sewing done during this weather. Yes will bring to Liverbirds see you on Wed xxx

Hi jan, hope you are feeling better. I am hoping to give it to our young quilters guild rep. If she does not want it i normally give it to the textile class at
the local college. xxx

Hi Maggi, thank you for the nice comments you have been leaving on my blog. Oh yes now that the hard work is done I will enjoy some serious sewing. xxx

hi Kath, Your kitchen refurb is a big job and as they say Rome was not built in a day. Have to say its looking good on your blog. I just got fed up with trying to shove things into already overstuffed drawers. xxx
